The county of Herefordshire has many attractions and interesting events.
Locally at Symonds Yat
there is the fabulous
Jubilee Mazeand its Museum of Mazes. Also canoe hire. This is the perfect way to enjoy many parts of the River Wye .
The City of Herefordboasts the cathedral which houses the Mappa Mundi which is a famous medieval world map as well as the finest remaining British chained library.
This site gives a guide to local services in and around Monmouth. This area has many attractions, both places to visit and activities (such as local fishing) to enjoy. There is also information on the Wye Valley Walk plus places to eat in Monmouth and Hereford.

The Forest of Dean is bounded by the River Severn and the River Wye. As well as being an incredibly beautiful area it also has a wealth of social and industrial history .
The National Waterways Museum is situated in Gloucester's Victorian Docks. It has won many awards and has lots of hands-on exhibits and regular additional exhibitions.
